We pioneered the use of community powered innovation.

Ours was the first use of the Kaggle platform within the pharmaceutical industry. We leveraged an engaged community to develop predictive models that performed as well as those created by subject matter experts. We described this experiment here.

We then applied a network perspective to the organization and strategic deployment of Open Innovation and Crowdsourcing activities. This work can be found here.

Most recently, we have explored the broad use and adoption of Open Innovation and Crowdsourcing within the life sciences. This final work, in what I am lovingly calling The Cornetto Trilogy, can be found here.
