Week thirty two

I think, Dear Reader, that this is technically ‘Race Week’. Cripes.

Travel has, again, meant that I’ve had to skip some weeks in updating but, as in previous weeks, training has continued:

Week Thirty - 26.78 miles

Week Thirty One - 17.57 miles

My last taper run was yesterday, a timed run of 70 minutes (7.06 miles). I’ve a couple of, I don’t know, ‘maintenance’ runs that I’ll be taking over the next couple of days and then the big day.

I’ll be honest, I am quite nervous. Did I do enough? Am I ready? How’s it going to unfold? I haven’t enjoyed this whole taper business, but I am ‘trusting in the plan’, and expect my legs to feel as fresh as they can come Sunday.
